Mr Seegum. MIE IGNOU 2008/2009 results were out on 7 April 2010 but until now, we haven’t received our increment.Plz try to find out why.
Many are my friends who have just received their ACE results eager to get enrolled on the Diploma course. We would much be happy to know when we are getting on board.
hi GTU team,
first of all let me thank you for the excellent job you are doing.
I wanted to make you aware of a problem we, teachers of Piton G.S, and also teachers of many other schools, are facing.
We, teachers, were very much motivated when we heard that the Ministry is distributing ICT materials (laptop, projector) to each school to facilitate teaching.
But we were very much surprised when the HM of Piton GS told us that the laptop was for administrative use.
The school clerk had even transferred the documents from the office PC to the laptop.
what is the use then of the projector and screen and pen drive?
I contacted colleagues in many other schools and they told me that it is the same at their school also.
We would be much grateful if GTU could make the Ministry aware of the matter and ask them to issue a communique stating that the ICT materials are for teaching purposes.
thanking you in anticipation
hi,
great thanx to the GTU team.
on behalf of many students who have done TCP in 1998-1999 ,I would like to make a humble request to V Seegum. We would like to start our Diploma course as soon as possible. We are the last batch which have waited about 10 yrs to do our Ace.And now we think that we must have our diploma this year itself.Just like Rungllall Ashwin has said we are eager and enthusiast to enroll 4 diploma.
Thanking you in advance .
hi everybody.good news awaiting you.You must read this.It concerns you all.At the last forum for the introduction of kreole language in primary schools our distinguished so called union representative(jangli) has opened wide his mouth when it would have been much better if it was kept shut.Firsly those who sat near him complained of the bad arrack odour coming from him.Secondly he dug the grave of teachers when he said that he didn’t remain idle on the subject but he took the views of 50 teachers and parents and all unanimously said that kreole should be taught by GP teachers.
When we teachers are overloaded with the teaching of 9 subjects at primary level and are fighting for same to be reduced, a fake trade unionist says that more must added on our shoulders. Its simply selling teachers to the devil. What was his motive?to be in the good books of the minister???to be promoted HT??Anyway he never looked at the interest of teachers.
WE still want to know if there are only 50 teachers including parents in the profession and how come parents decide for us teachers now. Do they have the right to decide for us.According to Jangli its yes.Parents will tomorrow decide that sexual education and others will have to be included in the curriculum and taught by GP teachers. So sad for those who still believe that GPTU represents GP teachers. There is nothing in a name. It’s simply a word used to lure every one.Give a deep thought on it.
Dear Mr Seegum,
Many of our friends who hav completed their Diploma have been asking as to when we’ll be getting the increament added to our salary. Can u plz help us understand.
thanks
congratuation to all those who got through their exams.I am among the few unfortunate ones who is still waiting behind.I want to know if those who are refered in one subject will be given the chance to do diploma with the others or will they be penalised?
Thanks …………..
Please read our special Newsletter about effective date of MIE/IGNOU DIPLOMA>ASK yr regional officer if u havn’t got yet.
The introduction of creole in schoolas as an optional language. The debate has been launched. Will it be introduced on pedagogical basis or to satisfy communal pressure?
The POWC is organizing a trip to reunion island from 24 nov tpo 27 nov.visit to volcano.mafate n tour de lile.package inclusive air ticket as from R14900 to R19500 depending on numder of participants sharing same room. For more info.contact GTU
TO sudha.Yes you will get same consideration whether you referred or not.same batch ACE.same batch diploma
Congrats to my friend Jalil and all those who were from the batch 98-00 especially the Orange Group. Congrats to Cavisen too.
Congrats to all of u especially batch 2001-2003. bon courage to thoz who must resit. soyez courageux…..
Wa, thanks again dear friends… Hey Yashine, ki to p fer ladan twa…???
Dear Friends, those of us who did our ACE after 5 years of service should be simply happy. We did not have to wait for 10 years as other colleagues (though we lose in terms of increments – taking years of service into consideration) Secondly it was the easiest ACE! lets face it: just had to submit assignments, only two exams … only 4 face to face sessions! we simply had to play the game! the increments will come and the diploma also but lets have some patience; there are two or three more TCP batches who need to do their ACE. Thanks to GTU we were able to do our face to face sessions at the Teachers’Centre otherwise we would still be waiting! Sorry but i have to say it we are somewhat egoistic in our approach. We are all teachers and part of the same family…there should not be competition among us; as one said above whether pass or distinction we get only 2 increments. the motto is united we stand… if there is division the profession will suffer! the minister of education attended both gtu anf gptu gatherings on teachers day! what does it mean- simply divide and rule… think about it all friends UNITED WE STAND

Hello the GTU team
I would like to know whats taking the ministry so long to pay MIE-IGNOU diploma holders from the last cohort their increments. I cant understand how our friends from RCA schools hav been able to get theirs since the end of september while we from the govt schools haven’t seen any such things… Please clarify. Thanks
Hello Mr Seegum
I would like to ask u to look into the matter of our collegues Begum n Meeta. They r both GTU delegates at E. Noel GS. I talked about this matter with Salim. I also tried to reach u but u were taken up. Please meet them n try to help them. I know u r the only one they can count upon. Thanks
Hello Mr Seegum,
Despite not being in contact wiz u, I’ve came to know that you r already considering our case. I’m very thankful to you. As Begum said all we want is justice to be made. It’s unbearable that after all hardwork we did in our school, we are treated as such. Maybe throu’ ur sources u’ve come 2 knw how we worked for this deprived region. Our parents have already made a letter which is already circulating in the minstry. If parents whose kids are in our hands hav no complaints against us, they are very much satisfied wiz our work, where r those complaints coming from??? Administration?? I’m not afraid to say that people who is sitting in the office are themselves”p sauf sofa” so how come to blame us? N wat that, a new equation? “pa gagne figière klkun=complaint=transfer to ozer zone! No one has even query about ze problem? I didnt get any warning or visit of seniors. Where is PMS situated in zis? I dont see any transparency. We dont want to be a “bouchon champagne” as if whoever want to “voltiz nou,li fer li”. If I got a class wiz 30%, Im not ustad Raja to make 60% in 2 yrs. Ive heard Im blamed of not doing my job well. I want zat person to prove it.
I’m losing my patience coz its already a week since we’ve heard about all these gossips. No one is able to tell wat is happeng. We r relying a lot on u.
I want to know abt ze complaints retaining against us.
thank u again for proving to be a gud leader
hi mr seegum can u plz confirm if zer wll b EP in std 3 nxt year. if yes wll it be compulsory or optional for the clss tcher? sanx in advance
Hello Mr Seegum,
thank u for the great job you are doing for us. i know that you will offer your help to BEGUM and MEETA from E.Noel G.S. AND I hope their case gets resolved quickly.
king regards.
HI Mr Seegum
Meeta and Begum need your support. We all have full faith in you, and we know you will rise to the occasion – you have done it before, and you will do it again, you have never let your team down. JUSTICE MUST BE DONE.
It will be optional obviously.Read our last circular 3.11.10
Ive already talked to z 2 delegates. We r helping them. You will all be paid by end of Nov.With backpay. Its all z fault of ministry clerks.
hi Mr Seegum,
we wud like to thank u 4 yr time n help…we really appreciate it…n we expect to rewarded soon…thank u again..
Hi, will the ministry go ahead with the two years or three years cycle in rimary schools? I am actually a teacher in zone 3, our headteacher had not contacted me n other teachers for class allocations 2011. when I asked him, he said all depends on the inspectors of zone 3. I did std 1 and std 2 and i will very much like to do std 3 in 2011.
Is it for inspectors to decide or the headteacher ?????
Hi Mr Seegum,
The MIE IGNOU dip grad. ceremony was great! Thanks a lot for making it possible. But isn’t it a bit strange? We’ve got our diploma but we’re still waiting for the increment! I heard some have already got their increment. Maybe they work in RCA schools.Plz do something for us.I thought we would have it end nov. but up to now nothing.Thank you beforehand.
Hi Mr Seegum,
Thx 4 the great job u r doing. I’m a teacher of zone 2. I’ve been a member of gtu for the past 15 years n hv been duly paying my member fee regularly.I want to know why have I not been invited to the regional meeting on15th dec at lallmatie. Is it that you don’t like my face? It’s unfair! 5 yrs ago during the transfer exercise i didnt get z school i wanted. I 4n mr ramkishore, the regional officer n told him about it. That man told me that i’ve to comply then complain. But he reacted to problems of other colleagues. why this discrimination? I would like to meet u bt heard that u r a very busy man. so plz answer my mail.
