my name is in the mie list. i know i’ve passed, but why name does not appear here?
DPEM results will soon come out. By end of June. Initially PRB did not recommend any cent 4 DPEM[read report 08]. I promised to convince PRB grant 2 increments. And i succeeded. DHTS will earn RS5500 Travel grant…even if they don’t travel at all.

SEM2 results will come out soon. Lecturers much hectic. They have the DPEM as well to see. GTU is constantly after them. GTU will pressurise so that DIPLOMA starts quick. Please note that my group did DIPLOMA after 28years service. And i have made the last batch complete DIPLOMA after 10\12 years only.And you will benefit increments much earlier. The next batch will follow same still much earlier. I am committed to empower young teachers. I may be old but i’ve a much young mindset.

STOP PRESS. DPEM results will be out on 30 June or few days later. But not later than 2July. As promised by GTU. DPEM is the doing of GTU. Note that not a single cent was recommended by PRB for DPEM. Vinod Seegum promised 2 increments and he did it. And the R5500 Travel Grant has become a reality.

I would like to get a copy of the scheme of duties of GP teachers via email. I would like to know my rights as there is too much exploitation of GP teachers in schools. Thanks
Mr Seegum It’s good that gtu has decided to reconsider its position concerning EP Specially in std iii next yr.But plz ask z minister if a teacher can’t give tuition to more than ten pupils how he can do EP with 40 pupils? I mean to say that EP should be reserved for weak pupils only who have shown weaknesses in the diagnostic tests. As u have said in the deleg mting we have to live with the EP whether we like it or not ,so let the gtu negociate n make z best out of the worst

After negotiations with the ministry, GTU is pleased to announce that Probationers recently appointed on 8th December 2009 will have their salary adjusted and travelling refunded at the end of July this year with arrears. The reason for the delay was that acceptance forms for the post of educators were forwarded to the PSC in April/May 2010 which in turn, after necessary procedures, had just sent a list of those trainee teachers who have accepted the post of educators.
We wish to point out that as their salary is being paid by the Finance section at the Head Office of the Ministry of Education, forms for refund of travelling should be addressed to the Head office of the Ministry of Education, Finance Section, MITD Building, Pont Fer, Phoenix
i would also like to have a copy of the scheme of the duties of GP teachers, being probationers we dont really know all that and we are often being used or crushed by those who are in service before us..
